Celebrity Big Brother, Channel 4 + E4 almost constantly This makes me proper angry. Bloody perfumed ponces and Z listers moaning about being picked on by Big Brother – they should have tried being a kid around my big bruvva, he once bottled me for reading his copy of the Dandy. I were only six. But then like he said, I ‘ad to learn. Having said that, I couldn’t cope with living with Jade Goody and her mother the one armed bandit either. Fair play, she don’t look like a bin bag full of Vaseline smoking a fag anymore but she’s still thicker than a pot of molasses and as for that little twerp of a boyfriend, if he came round my manor…I’d cut ‘im. M / Website (12.1.07 16:35) I agree with Fab' (who is, absolutely) with the whole Ugly Betty thing; typical (North) American casting where they can't even cast someone "ugly" in a role where the lead is meant to be ugly, and instead get someone who is attractive and fill her with all the usual stereotypical geekism items and style that conflicts with the fashion idolization world in which she's been placed. As such, have not watched the show out of protest at my clock which never seems to have the right time leading me to miss many of the shows I would otherwise enjoy. As for Big Brother; having sworn off it last time it was around, I'm perversely enjoying this years celeb. version - okay, it's like overdramatic pap - but I bet Channel 4 are worried with the celebs quitting like flies (who, as everyone knows are the least loyal of all the insect world; but then again, when all the employment oportunities presented to you give new meaning to the term "crap job" it's not all that surprising) [interesting aside; much mockery has been made of Leo with his "thumbs up" screw you big brother comment, but most do not realise that in Iran/Iraq the "thumbs up" means "screw you" - which gives new meaning to those images of happy natives smiling and giving the "thumbs up" to all the allied troops "liberating" the country... if only the news had subtitles by HSBC] M. |
